Our founder has been involved in (and in love with!) aviation for over 50 years, starting as a military heavy airlift aircraft mechanic in 1990. He later became an Air Force fighter pilot, serving in combat as well as teaching basic and advanced tactical flight training. After retiring from the Air Force, he flew for an airline, then started a Part 141 flight school, a Part 135 Charter, and a Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Repair Station. But his first love has always been aircraft maintenance.  This non-profit is an effort to “pay it forward” to those just getting started. As aviation lovers ourselves, we want to spread the availability and accessibility of aviation careers to others.

Our Mission

We have been in the aviation training industry since 2015, starting with our first course to help military aviators earn their ATP as MIL2ATP. Since then, we’ve offered numerous training courses focused on helping both military and civilian pilots reach their aviation goals. Having been in this industry for many years, the main hurdles we see are:

1. Navigating the FAA requirements (especially challenging for veterans relying on their military experience),

2. Cost of training, and

3. Finding that first job.

That is why we created My Brother’s Keeper – to help students overcome hurdles and start their aviation careers.

Our Programs

The Military-to-A&P Test Prep Course helps military aviation maintainers earn an A&P based on their military experience. We are working on starting virtual career fairs and pre-employment hiring to help veterans secure jobs as A&Ps and to offset training costs, while providing a high-quality hiring pool to employers.

Our Pilot Program will launch this summer – check back for details!

We look forward to adding training programs, partnerships, and funding options for students who want to work in aviation, as maintainers or pilots. Please reach out if you have any questions or if you’d like to discuss aviation careers!
