Interested in employing veteran aviation maintainers?

My Brother’s Keeper is developing a course assisting veteran aviation maintainers to start civilian careers as FAA AMTs by providing streamlined training that effectively and efficiently gets veteran aviation maintainers through the FAA tests and into jobs.

A major hurdle for many young servicemembers separating from the military is the cost of transition training. Our goal is to eliminate that hurdle by connecting servicemembers with employers willing to offer partial training scholarships (to the tune of a few thousand dollars) in exchange for a job contract.

What you’ll be getting:

  • Military maintainers have years of experience and world-class training in working on complex airframes and engines; tap into that experience by hiring veterans.
  • Graduates will be fully certificated FAA AMTs, ready for OJT in their new positions.
  • Our instructors are former military mechanics with AMT experience, ready to shape the mindset and existing knowledge of students into the tasks and challenges they will face as AMTs.
  • Our sister company, MIL2ATP, created a similar transition program for military pilots with great success; we’d like to start offering the same transition to military mechanics.
