Test Prep Course
We are excited to launch our Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Test Prep Course for military aviation maintainers interested in earning their FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate!

Pre-Reqs
In order to take the FAA A&P test, you must have 30 months of aviation maintenance experience. Most military aviation maintenance specialty codes are eligible, but you must obtain proof of experience – there are two avenues for receiving proof of experience in order to test:
- FAA Form 8610-2 (received from the FSDO after proving experience) OR
- A CG-G-EAE-4 Form, Certificate of Eligibility (earned through the Joint Services Aviation Maintenance Technician Certification Council (JSAMTCC) program).
Course Overview
Two-week course including:
- Written test prep program
- Three FAA written tests, covering general, airframe, and
powerplant knowledge areas - Academic lessons and hands-on training in preparation
for the practical test - FAA oral and practical test (O&P)
Instructors are retired servicemembers with both military
and FAA maintenance experience.
